E-ZPass drivers always enjoy the lowest travel fees on the South Norfolk Jordan Bridge. They're also eligible to join our free Commuter Club to earn 5 travel points for each crossing. Points can be redeemed online for a variety of rewards and special offers from local businesses. Plus, only E-ZPass drivers enjoy access to special promotions like the Summer Fun Sweepstakes and Ride for A Rogue Sweepstakes with a Grand Prize of a 2017 Nissan Rogue from Nissan of Chesapeake ($27,950 value)!

E-ZPass is the electronic collection system that makes paying travel fees easy by automatically deducting them from your prepaid account. E-ZPass is accepted at the South Norfolk Jordan Bridge, Downtown Tunnel, Midtown Tunnel, Chesapeake Expressway, Veterans Bridge, Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel, Coleman Bridge and in 15 other states from North Carolina to Maine. Apply for a new account online at www.EZPassVA.com or call toll-free #877-762-7824. Vehicles traveling without an E-ZPass are billed at the Pay by Plate rate, and drivers receive an invoice in the mail for their travel fees approximately 30 days after travel. Invoices are mailed via USPS to the address where the vehicle is registered with the Department of Motor Vehicles (note: this may be the leasing company or a military member's home of record).

Mopeds/scooters and motorcycles are assessed at the 2-axle travel rate. Bicycles are welcomed and travel on the South Norfolk Jordan Bridge shoulder lanes at no charge. The Pedestrian Walkway is always free for foot traffic and is accessible during daylight hours.

Periodically, we've been able to offer discount or free travel fees to our drivers. If you'd like to review the offer details for a specific date, please click here to view the Promotional Rate Schedule
