The Chesapeake Sheriff’s Office is hosting the 5th Annual Pull for Pink event to benefit the Chesapeake Regional Health Foundation in support of breast cancer research, and we’re sponsoring up to five (5) teams to compete in the fire truck pull challenge!

  Held from Noon to 4 pm on Saturday, Oct. 19th at TapIt! Local Grassfield, teams of eight (8) play a quick game of tug-of-war with the City’s pink fire engine. The team that records the fastest time to pull the engine across the finish line wins year-long bragging rights and a sweet trophy.

  Teams must include a minimum of two (2) female members or compete as a ladies-only team. To register, please call #932-8518 or e-mail RSVP@SouthNorfolkJordanBridge.com. All SNJB team members will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis and receive a commemorative event T-shirt to wear in the competition. The SNJB pays all registration fees for sponsored teams!

  Grab a few friends and join us in this fun, annual event that also includes a motorcycle ride, family games, live music, a 50/50 raffle and silent auction.
